We're excited to invite you to a gathering for anyone interested in helping to kick-start Friends of the Earth Cork! Where: Civic Trust House, 50 Pope’s Quay, T23 R2XCWhen: Tuesday 10th June at 8:00 PMHybrid Option: Join us in person or via Zoom (link shared after registration) This will be an informal get-together to explore what a local Friends of the Earth group could look like in Cork; sharing ideas, meeting like-minded people, and starting to shape plans together through activism or the arts. Whether you’re brand new to activism or already involved, all are welcome. At the recent Springtime Network Day in Dublin, local Friends of the Earth groups from across Ireland came together to share their initiatives and aspirations. Many are campaigning on issues like biodiversity and renewable energy, for warmer homes and against data centres, and expanding and growing their membership. By starting a group in Cork, you can tap into this vibrant network, bring local voices to national campaigns, and help create meaningful change in our community. Feel free to bring a friend or spread the word. We hope to see you there!
